Sheryl joined up the military soon after she graduated the college. But, she was interested in comedy. In 1989, she became the first woman to make the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She began her TV job in the year 1992, being a regular actor on HBO's comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She was a TV host at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! Then in 2011, she started appearing on The Talk as co-host. In addition, she has appeared on fictional programs like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
